Riggs Cooper consults with companies, owners, designers and artists to deliver art programs that further each company’s business objectives.
What We Do
WE BELIEVE IN ART WITH A PURPOSE
From the boardroom to the building lobby, we turn spaces into experiences. We know art and our passion is consulting businesses on how art can work for them. Art is a uniquely human way to further a business strategy. We value the people on either end of art – the creator and the appreciator – and our mission is to find the right artworks that connect people to your ideas and spaces.
Charlotte Riggs, Art Consultant. In 2013, Charlotte helped create a mission-based art collection for Spaulding Rehab Hospital. Spaulding opened its doors days after the Boston Marathon bombings and welcomed the majority of the victims, many of whom commented on the power of the artwork as an active component in their recovery process. Since then, she has devoted herself to working with people whose companies prioritize art as a valuable tool for connecting people to their purpose. Her passion for this work led her to found Riggs Cooper in 2017 with Carter.
Charlotte’s past clients include Hines, Related Beal (part of The Related Companies), Partners HealthCare, Equity Residential, TA Associates, The Davis Companies, Harvard Medical School, The Fallon Company and Shire. She has managed over $10M in art program budgets and placed thousands of pieces ranging from $400 to $400,000.
Carter Cooper, Operations. Carter oversees the company’s strategy and operations. She’s managed major real estate, technology and human resources projects as well as an art gallery and the delivery of important corporate art projects. From big-picture strategy to day-to-day operations, Carter is driven by efficiency, responsiveness and quality.
Together, our team delivers beautiful and relevant art programs on time and under budget.

OUR BUSINESS STARTS WITH YOUR BUSINESS.
Our consulting approach thrives at the intersection of art and business. As an extension of our client’s team, we are invested in their success, and trusted to provide artistic solutions that reflect and support their top priorities.
Based on our experience, planning a successful art programs starts with three core elements: communication, innovation [inspired by you,] and [excellent] project management. Whether you want to reinforce corporate values, increase the curb appeal of a property, or influence stakeholders’ perceptions, we prioritize the up-front planning and apply the right tools to arrive at the best solutions.
Our three-step PROCESS is the foundation of every project.
1. DISCOVER. We often encounter clients during a time of transition. This is why we listen closely and pay careful attention to their goals, culture and challenges. No matter your budget or schedule—your art program will align with your history, values, culture and environment.
2. DESIGN. This is the fun part. We combine your priorities with our expertise to research, design, and design again until we all agree that your goals have been met. We will guide you through the art selection process and responsibly allocate the budget without sacrificing quality.
3. DELIVER. From framing and display systems to coordination of delivery and installation to educational tools, we do it all.
“When our architects introduced us to Charlotte, we could tell immediately that she had a creative mind and a thoughtful approach to art selection and art design. It was a great process and in the end the property achieved a beautiful lasting installation that people have really responded well to.”

-Shuli Sade, Artist
WE’VE BEEN THERE.
“In the beginning there was no art - by intent. […] We engaged Charlotte early on to sit in on programming and design workshops with the architectural team, but it took a while to turn around the initial perception of art as expression of opulence to an understanding of art in service to mission. Charlotte tuned in immediately to our organizational culture and its underlying contradictions, and brought a compelling array of art program options for discussion and debate with leadership. The result is a lively, vibrant and beautiful campus that reminds us daily of who we are and aspire to be as members of our local and global care-giving communities. Such is the power of art when well-curated and appropriately placed. “
