What we do
Why we do it
We partner with companies, owners, designers and artists to deliver art programs that further each user's business objectives. We turn spaces into experiences.
Art is a uniquely human way to further a business strategy. We value the people on either end of art - the creator and the appreciator - and our mission is to find creative solutions that connect people to your ideas and spaces.
How it's done
Communication, innovation and excellent project management. We listen and apply the right tools to arrive at the best solutions.
“In the beginning there was no art - by intent. […] We asked Charlotte early on to sit in on programming and design workshops but it took a while to turn around the initial perception of art as expression of opulence to an understanding of art in service to mission. Charlotte tuned in immediately to our organizational culture and its underlying contradictions, and brought a compelling array of art program options for discussion and debate with leadership. The result is a lively, vibrant and beautiful campus that reminds us daily of who we are and aspire to be as members of our local and global care-giving communities. Such is the power of art when well-curated and appropriately placed."

WORK
Listen. Dare. Deliver.
“Charlotte took one of the most challenging placemaking projects of my 40-year real estate career and designed a brilliant art program that brought 21st century dynamism to our landmark historic property."

LEADERSHIP
We love what we do.
Charlotte Riggs, Art Consultant. In 2013, Charlotte helped create a mission-based art collection for Spaulding Rehab Hospital. Spaulding opened its doors days after the Boston Marathon bombings and welcomed the majority of the victims, many of whom commented on the power of the artwork as an active component in their recovery process. Since then, she has devoted herself to working with people whose companies prioritize art as a valuable tool for connecting people to their purpose. Her passion for this work led her, along with Carter Cooper, to found Riggs Cooper in 2017.

Charlotte’s past clients include Hines, Related Beal, Partners HealthCare, Equity Residential, Global Growth Private Equity Firm, The Davis Companies, Harvard Medical School, Shire and other corporate, hospitality and real estate firms. She has managed over $10M in art program budgets and placed thousands of pieces ranging from $400 to $400,000.
Carter Cooper, Operations. Carter oversees the company’s strategy and operations. She has managed major real estate, technology and human resources projects as well as an art gallery and the delivery of important corporate art projects. From big-picture strategy to day-to-day operations, Carter is driven by efficiency, responsiveness and quality.
“When our architects introduced us to Charlotte, we could tell immediately that she had a creative mind and a thoughtful approach to art selection and art design. It was a great process and in the end the property achieved a beautiful lasting installation that people have really responded well to.”

"We have consistently received rave reviews about the art in the hospital from our patients, their families and visitors. The art program at Spaulding has been successful because of Charlotte. Not only does she have tremendous knowledge of all forms of art, but she took the time necessary to meet with stakeholders to grasp and understand the mission and culture of the organization and applied her talent and skill to design the ideal program for Spaulding."

“Charlotte was the perfect partner for us – she is very knowledgeable, creative, resourceful, open-minded, mature, organized, and, most importantly, she is a great listener... She partnered with us to create a collection of art that is truly unique, reflects our culture, generates positive energy in the office and provokes conversation.”
